French Market returns to Chorleywood - 11 May 2014

posted 15 Apr 2014, 13:24 by Tomo
The very popular French Market is returning to Chorleywood on it's 3rd annual visit on Sunday 11th May 2014.

The market consists of approximately 15 stall-holders, with the traders mostly coming from Normandy and belong to the Syndicate or Traders’ Association in Rouen. They offer a wide range of products. The range of goods is typically French, as is the atmosphere they create, with their umbrellas, marquees and attractive market layout.

All the traders have their own regular markets in France but enjoy coming to England because they always receive such a very warm welcome.

The goods that will be on sale are typically cheeses, bread (freshly baked every day), patisserie products, olives and dried fruits, handbags, jewellery, craft items.

The market has been a great success in both 2012 and 2013 in Chorleywood, and we hope it will be as successful in 2014.

Also appearing at the French Market in 2014 will be team members from the Community Plan, who will be on hand to discuss what the proposed Community plan means for Chorleywood, and to get your feedback.

If you have any queries about the French Market, please contact the Chorleywood Business Association.
