Chorleywood Post Office and ATM

posted 17 Feb 2019, 03:23 by Chorleywood Residents' Association   [ updated 17 Feb 2019, 03:27 ]
Our village Post Office and ATM machine has been out of use for over two weeks now. This is since the unfortunate burglary and associated damage to the premises on the night of Saturday 26th January. Chorleywood Parish Council (CPC) and Residents Association (CRA) have been stressing the importance of restoring this vital service to Post Office Ltd management through recent correspondence. We have been assured that the premises will re-open as soon as possible once the substantial damage has been rectified. It is also known that the building has been sold for future redevelopment and alternative premises are being investigated.

Please be reassured that both CPC and CRA are doing everything possible to ensure that a Post Office service remains in Chorleywood and we will continue to keep our residents informed of progress.
