Chorleywood Residents' Association 2020 AGM

posted 5 Jun 2020, 01:38 by Chorleywood Residents' Association
On 20th May the Executive Committee met using video conferencing and the formal business of the AGM was completed with all motions properly proposed, seconded, voted upon and carried unanimously.

The Executive Committee would like to thank Chorleywood Residents for their participation.  Over 60 votes were received using the online voting form, which together with postal votes received took the total to 70, easily achieving the quorum required.

Please visit the 2020 CRA AGM page on our website for minutes of the meeting and the supporting documentation .  The About Us pages on the website will be updated in the next few days with the roles and responsibilities of the members of the Executive Committee.

The results of the monthly 100 club draw including the £100 top prize this month can be found on the 100 club page.  If you are not already a member then you can find details of how to join there, or click this link and we will do the rest

Jane Tozer was elected to be the new chairman of CRA.  Jane comments:

"Our virtual AGM went very smoothly, thanks to the hard work of Jill Menghetti in putting together a special AGM edition of our magazine TCR, and of Mike Stansfield for creating an excellent voting system which allowed all Chorleywood residents to vote online if they wished.

After the formal business the Executive Committee gave grateful thanks to those members stepping down at this AGM for their many years of hard work and service to Chorleywood’s residents:
  • Mark Fowler, as our Vice Chairman
  • Kalpna, as Treasurer
  • and of course Owen Edis as Chairman
Full details of their work for CRA are in the latest copy of TCR.

The Executive Committee were also delighted to present Owen with a magnolia for his much-loved garden and a photo montage of him and his CRA Team (pictured right)."
