Memorial Garden Watering

posted 27 Jul 2020, 04:07 by Chorleywood Residents' Association
With life being at a slightly slower pace for many in the last few months, the CRA have been happy to see the bench in the Memorial garden, at the Shire Lane Crossroads, being put to good use.  The CRA are responsible for maintaining the garden and members have been diligently weeding and pruning in the last couple of weeks.

An irrigation system was installed when the garden was landscaped but unfortunately we are still waiting for HCC to install a water supply.  Even though we have had more rainfall recently, we are concerned that if we have another dry spell, the garden may suffer.  If this happens, then we’d love to hear from any window cleaners or florists with a portable water tank supply who would volunteer to deliver water to the garden.  If you think you may be able to help, please contact lisa@chorleywoodresidents.co.uk. Many thanks in advance.
