Local dad Brent has already raised £10,000 by completing four 100-mile Ultra marathons. He has also pledged to run one marathon a day for 13 days from December 27, with the 14th day being the Country to Capital race on January 9, a 43-mile route that begins in Wendover and ends in London’s Little Venice. On January 9, Brent will emerge from the back of Chenies Manor at about 10.30 am, head into Carpenters Wood and re-emerge onto Chalfont Lane. If you wish to clap him down the road as he heads for Old Shire Lane and back on the trail to London, he would love to see you.
