Parking pressure returns to the village

posted 27 Jul 2020, 04:08 by Chorleywood Residents' Association
One of the joys of lockdown was the ease with which we could all park in the village. However, now that we are all allowed to venture out more and village life is gradually returning to normal, pressure on parking is returning so we all need to be as considerate as possible when leaving our cars in the village.  The more cars that can successfully park in the village, the more customers our valuable shops will see.  If you park at the end of a row, please make sure that your wheels are parked up against the end white line, so several feet of parking are not wasted. Please then drive off as soon as you’ve finished shopping, freeing up space for other shoppers. We need to do everything we can to support our local businesses and thoughtful parking is one of the important ways to do that.
