West Herts Beekeepers' Association have a stand at Croxley Revels on Saturday 18th June and again at Chorleywood Village Day on 9th July. At both events they will be selling locally produced honey and are looking forward to meeting anyone wanting to find out more about bees and beekeeping. The bees are having a rough time this year due to the rather fickle weather so anything we can do to spread the word would really help.

More about West Herts Beekeepers’ Association:

A group of beekeepers from a variety of backgrounds who share the same objectives:
  • The promotion of healthy bee colonies through skillful bee-craft management
  • Encouragement, support and training for new beekeepers
  • Advice and practical help to the local community on the protection and importance of all pollinating insects and advice on their proper handling and safety
  • Response to the community to collect swarms
