94 year old resident killed in tragic accident

The Residents' Assocation were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of an elderly local resident today.

A runaway car collided with 94 year old Jack Stepham whilst he was sitting on a bench in Turneys Orchard.
The police, ambulance attended the incident, with an air ambulance setting down on the common outside the Old Shepherd pub, but despite everyone's efforts Mr Stepham was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Jack Stepham was the youngest of four siblings who were were named by the Guinness Book of World Records last year as the world's oldest surving siblings.
