Chorleywood Christmas Late Night Shopping - 03 Dec 2010

Friday 3rd December 2010 is Chorleywood Village’s annual Late Night Shopping event and is organised by Chorleywood Parish Council.

Santa has been booked and will be waiting for your visit to his Special Grotto where every child receives a gift from Santa and doesn’t forget to give him your free colouring competition entry.

Surestart will be in Chorleywood Library between 5.30 – 7pm with lots of exciting stories for the little ones.

This year we are delighted to welcome The Russell School Choir who will be performing between 6pm – 6.30pm and The Chiltern Choir will be providing festive Christmas Carols between 7pm – 7.30pm. Watford Hospital Radio will also be here playing festive music though out the evening.

Chorleywood Bookshop have organised a "Where’s Wally" Competition where clues have to be found in the local shop windows with a prize for the winner. A group of Harpists led by Steph West will be playing in Chorleywood Bookshop between 6pm – 6-20pm

Higgins Butchers will be providing the ever popular pig roast, and there will be locally produced mulled wine, hot and cold food and much more so, why not arrive early and enjoy a tasty treat.

Most of the shops will stay open until 9pm allowing you to browse their selection of gifts and ideas for Christmas presents. 

Cllr Rodney Kipps; the Chairman of Chorleywood Parish Council will present a trophy for the best dressed Christmas themed shop window display.

There will be fairground rides for little one’s and many local voluntary organisations providing a variety of fun.

The fun starts at 6pm and lasts until 9pm in Lower Road, Chorleywood.
