Did you realise that we have a National League Division One Volleyball team in Chorleywood?

St Clement Danes school has been a centre for volleyball in the area for some time, mainly due to one of the teachers (Paul Westhead) being a highly experienced volleyball coach. Paul has even coached the GB Ladies team in his time. But now Paul has concentrated on the Men's team for the last few years, culminating in their promotion to National League Division 1 for the 2011-2012 season.

The 2012-2013 season will see the club endeavour to reinforce its position as a strong Division 1 side before moving on to gain a place in English Volleyball’s prestigious ‘Super 8’s’ League. Even now the club, due to its promotion into English Volleyballs Division 1, has its eyes set upon future successes both in league and cup.

The team's home is at at St Clement Danes school... and the Danes Volleyball team would very much appreciate some local support. Residents are free to come to watch the matches... it's free to the public... the team just ask is that you cheer on the home side.
The home side wears bright orange, so you should be able to recognise us. :)
