As from 13th June Three Rivers District Council's refuse and recycling arrangements will be changing, with the brown bins used for all food and garden waste as well as cardboard going on to a weekly collection and the green residual waste bins going fortnightly. The recycling collection of plastics, tin cans, glass and paper remains fortnightly. The Council will be distributing a leaflet containing a comprehensive
list of what can now be recycled and how little needs to go into the green
residual waste bin. As well as this, They have organised a series of “road
shows” where Council officers will be on hand to explain the new service,
take requests for extra, or larger recycling boxes, as well as to go through any
recycling queries you may have. The Road Show will be visiting Chorleywood next Thursday 19th May and will be in Lower Road from 9.00am till 1.00pm, do go along if there are any questions you may have. |
