The second Annual General Meeting of Hertfordshire LINk (Local Involvement Network) will take place on Tuesday 25 May 2010 at the Fielder Centre in Hatfield. Refreshments will be available from 6pm onwards with the AGM proper starting at 7pm. A number of voluntary and statutory organisations will be providing information stalls in the refreshment area and these can also be viewed from 6pm.

The AGM will offer you a chance to catch up on the latest LINk news and hear about the organisation’s exciting plans for the coming year. You will also have an opportunity to meet members of the newly elected LINk Board. The special guest speaker for the evening will be Anne Walker, Chief Executive of NHS Hertfordshire. Anne’s talk will be entitled ‘NHS Hertfordshire - Future Opportunities and Challenges’ and she will be available to answer any questions afterwards.

The meeting is open to the public, but places are limited so please contact the LINk office as soon as possible to book your place if you have not already done so. It would also be helpful to know if you have any special dietary requirements or particular support needs. A copy of the Agenda for the AGM and a flyer giving you directions to the Fielder Centre are attached.

A member of the Residents' Association is hoping to attend the LINk meeting, so if you're not able to attend yourself, please feed back any concerns to us at health@chorleywoodresidents.co.uk and we'll try to represent your views.
