Hertfordshire LINk’s physical and sensory disability theme group have launched a survey collecting experiences of physical and sensory disabled patients health care services accessed by Hertfordshire residents. The aiming is to improve access to healthcare services in Hertfordshire.
LINk is the health and social care watchdog and the Herfordshire Chair is Henry Goldberg. LINk gives you the chance to say what you think and to suggest ideas to help improve health or social care services, and it listens to local people about their needs and experiences of services and works with health and care professionals to ensure that the public views are heard. If a service is funded by public money LINk can monitor this. They feed back this information to the people responsible for commissioning, providing and managing health and social care services so that things can change for the better.
The survey is available online at and paper, Brialle or telephone versions are available by contacting
Chantal Weedon, Facilitator, Hertfordshire LINk, 2-4 Forum Place, Hatfield, AL10 0RN. Tel: 01707 275978

The closing date for this consultation is the 16th July 2012.

If a lot of individuals complete this survey and provide positive/negative feedback, this can really have an impact. The bigger the group, the larger and more effective the voice. You have a chance to improve your services and to have your views shared with the people who run them.
