Long running planning saga rejected at appeal in Rickmansworth

Plans by Henry Homes to build four family homes on back garden land in 61-65 Nightingale Road, Rickmansworth have been rejected at a planning appeal. Our local planning authority, Three Rivers District Council, had rejected the plans for a tenth time this year, and the applicant took the decision to the Planning Inspectorate. However it has been announced that the appeal has been rejected as the development would damage the conservation area.
The residents in Nightingale Road were supported by the Rickmansworth Residents' Assocation, and it demonstrates the importance of Residents' Associations in our local communities.
