There is a public meeting at the Parish Council Offices on Tuesday 17th January at 8.00pm anyone who
wishes to find out more about the play
area for Chorleywood should try and attend.
- The Play Area
Advisory Committee set up in July 2011 consisting two each representatives
from the Community, Friends of the
Common and Parish Councillors, are due
to present their report to the Open Spaces Sub-Committee of Chorleywood Parish
Council at that meeting.
- The report being
presented has been finalised and is now a public document (see attachment)
- The remit of the
Advisory Committee is to look at possible sites in Chorleywood for both formal
and informal play equipment
- The Open Spaces
committee will review the report and any proposals included within it and make
a decision on how they wish to proceed in taking this topic to Full Parish
Council at their meeting on 7th February
2012.
- As a public forum you are
welcome to attend to show your support for play facilities central to the Community.
- Three Rivers
District Council funding is due to be approved on 21st February 2012 and the
need for open discussions should commence once the Parish Council have made
their decision on location.
