Now that the Olympics are over, most of us can start to focus on the impending end of the summer holidays, and getting back to work.

Play Space Consultation

But before you give up all hope of enjoying the weather, and our outdoor environment, spare a few minutes to fill in a survey released today by Three Rivers Council on the proposed Play Area for Chorleywood.

Getting to this stage represents several years work by the Residents' Association and other local groups campaigning for better Play Area provision in Chorleywood, and it's important that the council can really hear the views of the local community. If you've not been following the proposals and the debate, take a look at the Play Area pages on our website.

As part of Three Rivers review of the local wood management plan there is a guided walk of Carpenters Wood.

Are you aware of the new Prostate Cancer testing service in the village? All blokes over 45 should avail themselves of this local service at the two village pharmacies.

Are you aware that there's a consultation open on changes to the local voting system? Get yourself informed and help influence the decision making process.

Have you been a Games Maker?
