Email update 25 September 2012

posted 11 May 2013, 13:27 by Unknown user   [ updated 11 May 2013, 13:27 ]
Last week the Executive Committee held our first meeting after the Summer break and had a packed agenda. We usually meet every 6 weeks and discuss a range of topics and plan actions that we can take to further the issues that have been raised with us.

It would appear that Molliefest passed off without causing too much disruption to the village. Although the music from the Festival could be heard over parts of Chorleywood, neither we, nor the Police have had much negative feedback which is a testament to the Showmans Guild who ran the event for their members. It's been reported that the event raised £105,000 for Mollie Matthews.

A few Transport related matters
The Implementation dates for the Metropolitan Line resignalling have been agreed and made public by London Underground.

And there are a couple of ePetitions questioning whether the street lights should stay on, or go off after midmight on the HertsDirect website.
