The Exec Committee of the Association have been meeting this evening and we had a packed agenda, reviewing the feedback from our AGM, and preparing for Chorleywood Village Day on Saturday 14th July.

This weekend
There's lots of stuff going on in and around Chorleywood this weekend.

Transport
We had a lot of feedback from our e-mail about flooding in Chorleywood and have had write ups in most of the local papers and magazines. Unfortunately we're still waiting for feedback from Hertfordshire Highways.

Chiltern are proposing some significant changes to the train timetable from Dec 2012. You can read our response online for the detail of the impact of the changes.

Environment
The hosepipe ban will continue, but have you ordered your free water saving devices from Veolia?

The council have passed new control orders to limit the use of the Common and the Chorleywood House Estate by professional dog walkers.

Education
Have a look at the consultation on the Shepherds Lane school.

Play Area
The council will be at the Village Day, so make sure you come along and tell them what you want.

Health
Go and have a look around the Watford Acute Admissions Unit

The closing date for this survey is the 16th July 2012. Do you have any views?

Let us know if you have any more news for us.
